What we use
We use a small number of cookies and equivalent technologies in three categories:

- Analytics — privacy-respecting, aggregated usage measurement to improve the site. Consent-based.
- Preferences — remembering appearance choices such as light/dark. Consent-based.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. GateHouse’s business is sovereignty; surveilling website visitors would be off-brand as well as unnecessary.
Managing cookies
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies from the banner, change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer, and clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
Retention
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies last no longer than 12 months, after which consent is requested again.
